Christine started her professional career with BDO Dunwoody Chartered Accountants under the mentorship of Steve Parker in the fall of 1994 while still a student at Carleton University. After graduating with High Honours from the Bachelor of Commerce program in May of 1995, Christine started her full-time Chartered Accountancy articling position with BDO where she was exposed to many types of public accounting duties in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. When Steve Parker started his own practice in early 1996, Christine agreed to accompany him as a CA student, making her the first official employee of what is now Parker Prins Lebano Chartered Professional Accountants. Christine successfully passed the Uniform Final Examination in the fall of 1996 and received her CA designation in the fall of 1997. She became a partner in the firm soon after and has been an integral part of the mergers, expansions and growth that have transpired since that time. With a strong base in audit, accounting and tax to a varied client base, Christine works with many types of clients in her practice.

In the early 2000’s, it became apparent that there was a market for tax preparation relating specifically to estates and testamentary situations. Christine, who was already working with lawyers as a tax referral source in this sector, jumped at the opportunity to be more heavily involved with this growing market and expanded her growth in this area though self-study and professional development.

In 2007, she decided to pursue the TEP (Trust and Estates Practitioner) designation through the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) receiving these letters in April of 2008. She now specializes in this area providing consultancy, tax preparation, estate planning and other related services to colleagues, lawyers, investment advisors, executors and seniors and their families interested in estate planning. This is an area that she is keen to continue growing and developing as time goes on. Christine also continues to practice in the area of personal and corporate tax preparation, accounting, business consultancy and assurance services to both for-profit and not-for-profit clients. With such a wide variety of clients as well dedicated and loyal colleagues and contacts, Christine enjoys each and every day of her professional life.

Christine was born and raised in the Ottawa Valley, currently resides in Manotick with her husband Terry, and has three adult children.

Christine is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario and holds a Public Accounting License.
