Steve Parker, CA - Partner
Steve is the Managing Partner of Parker Prins Lebano. Steve has a broad base of experience in audit, accounting, and tax, with a particular emphasis on the audit of the small entity, purchase and sale transactions, financing, and SR&ED claims.

Founding the firm in 1996 as Steve Parker, Chartered Accountant, Steve has managed its significant growth to an office of 20, including 14 professional staff, through two mergers, with Robertson & Hill in 1999 and Smiley Kazubinski Dibartolo in 2000.  He has also lectured at accounting courses for Algonquin College in Ottawa.

An active participant in Ottawa’s business scene, Steve has been involved in a number of high-technology companies, from start-up and growth to sale. He approaches engagements with a practical, business-focused approach, while applying extensive experience with the SR&ED claim system to ensure clients received maximum benefit from the program. He has brought the same practical approach to engagements in other industries in which he has practiced, including credit unions and not-for-profit entities.

Steve has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto. He received his Chartered Accountancy designation in 1989 after articling with BDO Dunwoody Chartered Accountants in Mississauga. He moved to the Ottawa office of BDO Dunwoody in the same year before leaving to establish his own practice in 1996. Steve is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and holds a Public Accounting License.

Christine Prins, CA, TEP - Partner
Christine, a partner with Parker Prins Lebano Chartered Accountants has been working with the firm since its inception in 1996.  With a wide range of experience in audit, accounting and tax, Christine is particularly interested in estates, trusts and estate planning and has worked extensively with clients in this area, particularly regarding the complex area of final returns.

Christine sincerely enjoys meeting and working with her clients and has built a client base on solid, trust-based client relationships.  She is very active on a volunteer basis with her church and serves as a Treasurer for both the church and cemetery.  Three young children keep her busy outside of the office.

Christine has a Bachelor of Commerce degree with High Honours from Carleton University and received her CA in 1997.  In early 2008, Christine received the designation, TEP from the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Originally with BDO Dunwoody Chartered Accountants, she completed her articling with Steve Parker as her mentor while the firm was still in its infancy.  Christine is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and holds a Public Accounting License.


Geoff Lebano , CA - Partner
Geoff, a partner with Parker Prins Lebano Chartered Accountants, has been working with the firm since 1998.   Having benefited from a wide range of experience in audit, accounting and tax during the first ten years of his career with the firm, Geoff was promoted to partner in 2007.  

Geoff is particularly interested in the audit of small to medium sized enterprises and has extensive experience with audits of profit and not-for-profit organizations.  He also enjoys consulting small business owners and professionals on personal and corporate taxation, finance, and general business administration and development.  As the firm’s “Professional Standards Leader”, Geoff has played a fundamental role establishing and monitoring many of the firm’s quality control policies and procedures.  

Geoff graduated magna cum laude from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor in Commerce (Accounting / Co-operative Program) in 2000. He obtained his CA designation in 2003. Geoff is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and holds a Public Accounting License.
